Brining Awareness to Child Abuse
Our organization holds events to educate the community on the signs of abuse and what to do if they suspect a child is being abused. One of these events is our annual Lily Ball. This annual event is how we raise the majority of funds we need throughout the year.
The state of Michigan gives each foster parent approximately $25.00 per child to buy Christmas gifts. Most of the time these children have been taken from their homes with just the clothes on their backs. Their lives have been far from easy. We want to show them that they matter and that there are people who care about them.
